Superintendent

The South Shore Plumbing Superintendent oversees and directs approximately 25 personnel for the installation of plumbing from rough out to top out. The Superintendent must be able to supervise projects from conception to completion; participate planning and reviewing projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and help estimate costs; oversee all onsite and offsite construction (pre-fab) operations; monitor compliance with building, codes, transportation, and environmental, and safety regulations. The Superintendent must demonstrate a solid background in the field. Key qualifiers will reflect leadership skills and extensive experience directing the work of others and making quick decisions when necessary. Training and certifications should demonstrate full knowledge and ability to implement job site safety.
The Superintendent must be able to communicate effectively through verbal and basic written means and coordinate daily and weekly milestones with management and administrative staff. The Superintendent is highly visible and must demonstrate ethical conduct and leadership through actions and deeds to all personnel.

Responsibilities:

Proven foreman/supervisory experience

Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

In-depth knowledge of plumbing procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines

Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints

Ability to layout ground rough, and top out stages of custom residential and commercial plumbing projects

Aptitude in math

Ability to develop flat isometric drawings
Additional Qualifications:

County or State Plumbing License holder

Backflow Preventer Certification

Able to perform at a high level of proficiency under pressure to meet deadlines

Must meet and maintain South Shore Plumbing minimum insurance requirements
